Bila Ramadhan menjelang...
Lagi 2 hari nak puasa, kemeriahan nya memang terasa. Sebab ape? Sebab tengok Upin Ipin. HAHA. They are showing suasana di bazar ramadhan. "2 seringgit, 2 seringgit". Upin Ipin tolong Mail jual ayam. Harga sebenar 2 seringgit la. Lepas itu, datang la seorang abang ni, mintak 3 ekor. Diorang pon x tau nak kira, so they just said, seringgit. One idea popped out. Kalau jual 3 seringgit, cepat sikit habis kan? "Betul betul betul". So they sold 3 seringgit and ramai la orang datang beli, and ayam jualan semuanya habis. Balik je si Mail from somewhere, angin la dia sebab dah rugi. Nasib baik la ibu Mail tenangkan. "X pe la, dah rezeki mereka. Anggap je la kita bersedekah". "Betul betul betul". Heee. They are cute, right?
I can't wait for bazar ramadhan. Weeee. All I want to eat are going to be there. nak keropok lekor, ayam percik, yong tau foo, kuih sedap, nasi sedap, semua la. Haih.. Nafsu semata je ni, nanti dah beli, bukan nak makan. (mode insaf)
It supposes to be bulan berjimat cermat. Tapi, rakyat Malaysia, kalau pergi bazar, semua benda nak makan, semua benda nak borong. Bukan bulan puasa, x nak pulak makan macam2. Nafsu tu buat benda yang biasa nampak wow. Apakah ini yang sepatutnya berlaku dalam Ramadhan yang penuh barakah? Isilah bulan mulia ini dengan pengertian yang berkat.
Iklan kat tv jangan cakap la, dah sibuk dok jual perabot raya la, ubat raya la, makan malam raya la, tudung raya la. Macam-macam.
Puasa has not yet started, but, iklan jual ketupat dah keluar. "Buat apa susah Cik Yah, ketupat Faiza kan ada. Senang, cepat, dan sedap..."
Lagi satu, penyiaran program pon, semua dah berbentuk islamic. And also, patriotik. Kebetulan pula, 1 syawal nanti sama dengan ulangtahun hari kemerdekaan negara. Namun, the celebration will be postponed to 16th September bagi menghormati kedatangan 1 Syawal.

Aku nak belajar
I just finished reading an entry from a blog entitled 'Aku nak kahwin'. ha, skang biar aku tukar sket, 'aku nak belajar'. hangpa suma nak belajar x? ke x nak? rasa susah? sape cakap susah?
Aku nak belajar
Sebab aku rasa aku boleh bantu keluarga aku
Aku tak nak ibu dan ayah aku hidup susah lagi
Aku nak belajar
Sebab aku rasa belajar itu perlu kalau nak berjaya dalam hidup
Orang kata, manusia berilmu, cerah masa depan
Manusia tak berilmu, masa depan dia mendung
Aku nak belajar
Sebab aku nak kerja dengan company minyak, nak jadi jurutera kimia
Orang kata, kerja dengan company jual minyak, gaji masyuk
Aku materialistik? Dalam zaman sekarang, aku terpaksa jadi materialistik
Aku nak belajar
Sebab aku rasa aku perlu buat satu perubahan kepada dunia yang sedia ada
Tuhanku berkata, aku dijadikan sebagai khalifah di muka bumi ini untuk mentadbir
Segalanya demi manfaat umat sejagat
Aku nak belajar
Sebab aku ingin beribadah kepadaNya
Aku nak belajar
Sebab aku nak belajar, kalau duduk rumah, bosan kot
Tiap hari tengok tv, nanti aku jadi pemalas, aku tak nak
Aku nak belajar
Sebab aku nak ada duit banyak,
Boleh bawa family aku pergi haji, jalan2
Boleh beli macam2
Boleh ada rumah besar
Aku nak belajar
Sebab aku nak kahwin
Nak kahwin pon kena ada ilmu
Kalau tak, rumah tangga goyah, tak aman
Aku nak belajar
Sebab aku nak masuk syurga
Jadi, aku kena la belajar cara nak jaga iman
Aku nak belajar
Sebab aku rasa aku boleh bantu keluarga aku
Aku tak nak ibu dan ayah aku hidup susah lagi
Aku nak belajar

Life is indeed difficult, partly because of the real difficulties we must overcome in order to survive, and partly because of our own innate desire to always do better, to overcome new challenges, to self-actualize. Happiness is experienced largely in striving towards a goal, not in having attained things, because our nature is always to want to go on to the next endeavor.

ProJek Kals0M 17
Date : 11th - 15th July 2011
Venue : Melaka Tropical Fruit Farm, Sg Udang
Everyone who involved in this project is hangover now. Post Kalsom syndrome. My news feed is full with all posts related to this project. Not enough for that, Outward Bound participants had also posted about their program too. 'Meriah' la my Facebook. Nak post something yg lain dr yg lain pon mcm segan as I'm not that hangover. Huhu.
Ushering the participants to their hostel, made new friends with other facilitators, opening ceremony - nice talk from the local YB. So the time came. Semangat berkobar2 for the first day. Kenal2 adik2 in my group. But it was my first time facilitating a group, so nak wat introduction tu, kekok sket. I remembered a few ice breaking games when conducting sessions at Atlantic College. So I tried using the same pendekatan. But I was wrong. They are 16, not 7 or 8. The sessions went boring as I didn't have interesting ideas anymore. We finished early for that session. I was in need of a help, other facilitator to be a mate to conduct that 6 persons group. After all, it was nice knowing Alia, Fatin, Najihah, Harith, Yau and Prakash. You'll be knowing all behaviors of theirs for the next 4 days.
2nd day went well with the presence of my mate in the group, called Abg Sharif. Obviously I've to call him Abg as he's so much older than me. Haha. Group identity was made and our group was called R.E.N.T.A.P. They said Rentap was a fighter, so they are.
3rd was fantastic. We had an explorace around the fruit farm. Even though it was hectic, I had a lot of fun. Some times I thought that I was a bit hyper on that day. LOL. Adik2 had a chance to 'menyumpit', 'melastik', masuk sawah, rasa buah melaka, jadi mak andam and etc. A lesson we learned on that day is, "hidup ini seperti buah melaka, mula2 pahit, kelat, masam, tapi bila ditelan, lama2, manis yang di rasa di dalamnya". That kata2 was from one of the jurulatih which I assumed was a pensioner military commander long time ago, En Hamdan. He was so garang okay?
4th day, it was all about business. business classes which I had no idea exactly what some things were. after theory and case study sessions, then we had business trading game. This game was like 'main saham' la. Got broker, buffer, stock market, and etc. The situation in the hall was super hectic, with me, shouting to them as they were blocking the stock market screen. HAHA. I was excited. Sorry adik2. Free2 korg kne jerit camtu. They also had to do a presentation, all in english. And my group won 2nd place among their own big group. Yeay. I was proud of them. Really!
5th day, the last day. Finalist in a final round. Finalist of great presentations, Miss and Mr Kalsom. Everyone was in happy mood, especially when singing Gemuruh by Faizal Tahir. Ha, adik2 were awesome, we took pictures together, exchanged email addresses.
The memory of Kalsom would always be in my heart. The spirit that I saw in each one of them really made me proud of them. At least I know, we had done good deeds, and those students really had brighter futures. Hu Ha Hu Ha Projek Kalsom

Cuti serumpun melayu
Jakarta Pusat a.k.a Japus. Ha, this is the place where our hotel is located. Which hotel? Hotel Pasar Baru. Price Rp 495K per night for family room and Rp 350K for standard. Just next to Pasar Baru shopping place. okay, enough for accommodation introduction.
A spotted thing when you've first been in the traffic jam or popular known as 'macet' by locals, you could see Toyota or Suzuki or Honda MPV's. There are a lot of them on the road. People won't easily assume that Indonesia is a poor country by seeing all those cars model on the roads. But, this assumption would still be wrong if you see 'setinggan' poor houses which located around the city. There are a lot too. So, I conclude to myself that, the salary distribution among Jakarta locals are not even. Ones who are rich are so richer compared to the poorer.
Exotic vehicle which is known as bajai is 'cool' too. It looks like tricycle but it has a motor engine. The cost per ride would be around 15K to 20K Rp. It would be cheaper if you hop on with three people maximum, as the cost will then be shared among three. If you are single, it is recommended to take 'ojek' to take you anywhere you want within the central. 'Ojek' is just a normal motorcycle. The cost may be in the range of 5K Rp per ride. There is one more option which is quite similar to a car taxi, but it is called 'angkut'. 'Angkut is a van type taxi. I don't know the cost for this as ... ah, I might be prejudice here by saying this, but for me, 'angkut' is quite dodgy to hop on as you'll be sitting on a bench and the van has no door. Imagine if the van is drifting, passengers might collide to each other and someone might even be thrown out.
Shopping complex? I would say Tanah abang is the best place if you love fashion. There are a lot of fashion style you could find there. Tanah abang is a 10-storrey complex, so setiap floor, barang yg dijual, lain2 la. Muslimah's fashion, Children department, undergarments, shoes and accessories and etc. Pokok pangkal nye, insyaAllah everything could be found there kot. My mom and I bought telekung, a few sets of kebaya and long dresses. The price, you have to bargain till the lowest price you could get. And it was my first time bargaining there. My mom say a price, then I bargained 20% more. Haha. Alhamdulillah, we got less prices for some, and for those who couldnt tolerate more, then it was still no la. Terkilan la jugak didnt get to buy more garments sebab x cukup duit. Haish. I wish I brought more cash. ;(

Eastern Europe Trip 1 : Praha a.k.a Prague
Since I am bored right now, I am thinking of sharing my experiences visiting Prague during last spring break. I went there with my AC mates, so the trip was fun yet crazy as none of us could speak in the local language. Whatever it was, with the helps from my old friend who I went to SSP with, the tour in Prague went well and we enjoyed the places we went.
I think Charles Castle was the first place we went if I'm not mistaken. Just click on the place's name to know the history. We didn't go in as the time was not allowing us. So we just went around the castle and the garden and took few pictures there. Our tour guide, Ms Nurlyn was dedicated on guiding us on that afternoon tour even though she would have an exam on the next day.
From the castle which located on top of a hill, we continued our walk through Charles bridge. Here, there are a lot of statues with their own stories which I don't really interested too except one. I couldn't remember the exact story, but what I could remember is, he was thrown down the river, and anyone who touch the dog on the statue, his/her dream would become true. I don't know whether what I'm telling here is true or not. Haha.
