Boy friends

Boyfriend or boy friend? Bunyi sama tapi orang kata berbeza makna. Kalau ambil erti umum, boyfriend tu teman lelaki, boy friend tu kawan lelaki. Teman tu sama dengan kawan x? Nahhh, can't be bothered untuk kaji secara ilmiah. Okay, I am not gonna talk about so called boyfriend tu sebab malas. Cukup untuk katakan I'm not interested at the time being.

Boy friend. Boy friends. Dah berapa kali dah cakap blog ni kurang menarik, but they insisted jugak to read. Fine. Lets grant that.

Hi korang,

Yang terutama, yang terhappy, yang tersayang rakan-rakan yang baru ku kenali sejak December tahun lalu. Warkah ni khas untuk korang yang penasaran. Penasaran tu apa?

Sampai F kata "annoying gila soalan dia. Kot aku jadi kau, aku senyap je". Okay, korang yang lain tak kisah la tertanya-tanya or tak pasal soalan tu, meh sini aku summarise kan. Soalan H was about whether aku bagi tak bakal suami nak kahwin dua. Masa soalan tu diterjah, S sempat cakap "ko nak lagi ke kat lelaki macam tu. Awal-awal dia dah nyatakan niat. Kot aku jadi kau, aku angkat kaki je". Soalan tu aku jawab macam ni. "aku tak rasa aku redha nak share. Tapi, kalau after all ikhtiar, aku tak boleh bagi anak, then yeah, kahwin la lain". Tapi H ni macam paparazi melodi, never ending question sungguh. "Tapi, kalau ada sebab lain?" D pulak menyampuk "bestfriend ke?" Time tu aku hampir nak mencarut dah. I'm so not gonna tolerate that reason. Cukup lah sekali. Hell with your bestfriend tu.

Pening aku. Nasib baik I was used to all stupid jokes I had back in AC dulu. Men won't stop talking about it even if you say no. Dah minoriti, buat cara minoriti la aku. Haha.

Tapi, seriously thanks lah sebab menceriakan hidup aku saat ni. Thanks buat life UTP yang sememangnya bosan ni colourful. Korang punya jasa buat aku tertawa akan ku kenang sampai bila-bila. Kalau aku cakap aku benci korang tu, aku tak maksudkan pon. Bak kata F, bajet comel ah tu? Pangg satg.

Cukup la dedicate stakat ni. Panjang-panjang pon tak tau nak cakap apa.
Ada orang tanya A, B, C baik ke x? Yes, semua baik and handsome. Aku sayang korang, kawan!

Pokok

Newcastle dah snow!! Happy nyer..... Yes, can go golek2 on the snowy field lepas habis hantar assignment Jumaat ni lah. *Pray hard that it would finish by tomorrow, yet I'm still writing an entry. LOL*

So, alkisahnya today, those trees yang nampak gersang tak berdaun tu, nampak indah sangat diliputi salji putih. Siapa sangka ranting kosong mampu menjadi hiasan terindah di kala musim sejuk ni kan? They are the same trees yang keluarkan bunga ketika musim bunga, daun ketika musim panas, dan semua daun tu menjadi bunga kembali ketika musim luruh, dan akhirnya semua daun itu luruh apabila tiba musim sejuk. Plus, as I mentioned just now, daun-daun kering tu juga lah yang nampak cantik, macam bunga brownish-orange je colour dia. And today, though there was nothing on the branches, the trees still looked good.

And, today juga ada usrah kat rumah kitorang. After tafsir some of the 'ayah's from surah Yusuf *a story about Yusuf's handsomeness* and the 19th of 40 hadiths *belief and seek guidance or help from Allah*, Aqiedah pon buat la perkongsian ilmu she got while attending a program in Manchester last week. She already told Musfirah and me about the tree analogy, so I just re-listened to her again.

Surah Ibrahim:

Have you not considered how Allah sets forth a parable of a good word (being) like a good tree, whose root is firm and whose branches are in heaven (24)
Yielding its fruit in every season by the permission of its Lord? And Allah sets forth parables for men that they may be mindful (25)
Persoalan:

Haha.
No la... we are talking about real aqidah, not Aqiedah.
Jawapan:

Baiklah, mari tanya pak cik Google yang mampu memberi sumber sahih. Even that, we have to make sure that the source is real and comes from a trusted page. You may even ask your mates who have this kind of knowledge to get a true meaning of 'aqidah'.

Aqidah or I'tiqad according to the scholars of Islam is: The firm creed that one's heart is fixed upon without any wavering or doubt. It excludes any supposition, doubt or suspicion.

In Arabic, one states, "Aqada the rope" when the rope is tied firmly. Kawan baik saya tu pon berceritalah  tentang sebuah analogi lagi. And it's about a goat which is tied with a rope to a tree trunk. Tali itu haruslah kuat ikatannya pada batang pokok or any supporter, so that kambing itu tertambat rapi. If the rope is tied loosely, sure the goat could run somewhere else, right? Same applies to the human mankind. If you entrust a belief in Allah and put a lot of efforts to get yourself devoted to Him, insyaAllah our aqidah would be tightened, and we would never lose hopes and helps from Allah.

Next, bagaimana nak tunjuk our obedience?

Since ibadah is a mirror to aqidah, by how much you do the good deeds shows the strength of your aqidah. Qiamullail or even solat 5 waktu di awal waktu is a good example. Imagine yourself having a deadline real soon, yet you haven't nearly finished the assignment. So, you take time and solat at the end of the respective period. It shows that you have second graded the importance of Allah. And that shows iman you hold. Same goes with watching a drama during Maghrib prayer time. Even I finish the drama first before reciting prayer, teruk kan? Yet, I'm wishing too much dreams to be true. The victory shall be endorsed only by Allah. If you put less effort towards achieving the victory, how can you wish to be granted a best reward, right? Ya Allah, guide me towards being a better khalifah. Bantulah aku untuk mengingati dan beribadat kepada-Mu. Kepada-Mu aku berserah dan kepada-Mu aku meminta pertolongan.

And finally, ahklak or manners as a mirror of our ibadah. Kalau sempurna solat kita, insyaAllah tak jadi jahat lah.

Jangan jadi kutu berahak pula. Kutu berakhlak tak pe. Hihi.

I define beauty through my lens. It shows my angle of perspective.

ALLAH berikan aku sepasang mata.
Untuk aku melihat dunia ini
Sebagai kamera kepada kehidupanku

ALLAH berikan aku sepasang mata

Peliharalah mataku YA ALLAH
Supaya aku dapat bertemu-Mu di syurga tertinggi-Mu

Amin... Ya Rabbal 'Alamin...

Perangai bisnes

Why, bila tengok drama melayu kan, especially kalau slot Samarinda, yang citer pasal bisnes tu, mesti ade orang-orang PHD a.k.a Perasaan Hasad Dengki ni. Kenapa businessman melayu x nak bersaing dengan sihat? Kenapa perlu dengki-mendengki when tengok pesaing lagi hebat dari dorang? Haih... Kalo x 'guna-guna' kan orang tu, mesti nak bunuh ke, kenakan orang tu ke dgn any case berat.

If u believe with your ability, you surely are gonna survive well in the business. It's the time which matter. If the 'rezeki' is meant for you, it will eventually come sooner or later.

Perniagaan sepatutnya menjadi sumber rezeki paling luas jika dijalankan mengikut ketetapan syarak. Jom contohi cara Nabi Muhammad saw berniaga! If you practise integrity on a clean business and being trustworthy, of course everyone would be happy dealing business with you. Why does it seem too difficult to use clean hand? Why do you need to use short cuts on everything?

This question would never end if rasa tamak haloba dalam diri seseorang manusia itu tak padam.
"dan sesungguhnya dia sangat bakhil kerana cintanya kepada harta [100:8]"
It is undeniable yang semua orang mahu hidup mewah dan senang. Tapi, to climb the tree, you also need to do something kan? Real life isn't like green magic beans yang tumbuh jadi pokok Jack and Jill as in a movie entitled Puss in Boots. Kita perlu usaha dan terus berusaha to achive our GOAL.

Adakah trough showing the badness or only goodness?

John Lennon - Imagine

Imagine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people living for today

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people living life in peace

You, you may say
I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one
I hope some day you'll join us
And the world will be as one

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people sharing all the world

You, you may say
I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one
I hope some day you'll join us
And the world will live as one

Haha, now you wonder, what the heck am I writing this with out of sudden companion by a legend John Lennon song? I'm more less like Beatlesmania now. Not that maniac actually, but just to this song. Somehow, the song got stuck on my head when I listened to it at The Beatles Story Exhibition, Liverpool. The moment I saw the 'This is not here' section, it was like a magnetic attraction to me. The highlight 'You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one, I hope someday you'll join us, And the world will love as one', caught my eyes, and my ears started listening to the melody. The message he tried to convey here was quite clear. Just imagine, if there were no barriers made, sure a life could be liven up in peace.

Just a short history of the songwriter, after The Beatles disbanded, John Lennon went on solo performances, wrote few songs and one of the hits was actually this song, imagine. He actively involved in activism and was quite poetic in delivering his messages and thoughts.

Perfect Sense

I just finished watching this movie starred by Eva Green and Ewan McGregor. David Mackenzie as a director, had brought a different approach towards this kind of movie genre.

Rosaknya salah satu mahupun kesemua pancaindera, pincanglah sebuah kehidupan.

A chef and a scientist fall in love as an epidermic begins to rob people of their sensory perceptions. The film started when the young scientist started to find out about a patient who lost the sense of smell. Everyone seemed to have the same problem as they could not sniff the smell when should it be alike. So, all scientists over the world started to do experiments and researched for antidotes for the 'disease'. Things get harder when they started to lose their sense of taste. It happened when the hunger moment came where they ate whatever they saw in front of them by that time. Even the scientist ate a bouquet of flower and her own body lotion. It was just yucky to watch that scene where everyone just grabbed raw fish, garbage stocks and even lipstick. After two chemical senses i.e smell and taste had gone, they were still left with eye-sight, ears to listen, ans sense of touch. Life continued which they tried to utilize other senses to fulfill their necessities. The restaurant was now serving crackers food, fascinating decorated food, and they felt enough to quench the thirst or to celebrate the wine by the tinkling sound of the bottle. As life went on, the fourth sense was gone too as they turned deaf. The authorities had done few approaches to the public citizen to handle the situation. All televisions at home had to be switched on in order to read any further order by the authorities. Meanwhile, they had to be grounded at their own home and food would be delivered when the meal times came. Everyone started to use sign language to communicate and started to appreciate what they were left with. The quiet silent yet peaceful moments was wrapped up with the darkness at the end of the story. Before the couple was sightless, they had the chance to grab and hug each other closely, so they could still feel their breath and heart beats.

Just imagine if this really happens to us. How could you face the problem? Masya Allah. How great are those senses we borrow from Him to appreciate and live this life.

Filmmaker should reinterpret what they are shooting as worth the experience of going to the cinema. They should also cut the dvd distribution and sell their movie directly online... ( But I wonder those artsy old coot will even listen to this =p)

Why do we read Quran, if we can’t understand a single Arabic word? This is a beautiful story:

An old American Muslim lived on a farm in the mountains of eastern Kentucky with his young grandson. Each morning Grandpa was up early sitting at the kitchen table reading his Quran. His grandson wanted to be just like him and tried to imitate him in every way he could.

One day the grandson asked, “Grandpa! I try to read the Quran just like you but I don’t understand it, and what I do understand I forget as soon as I close the book. What good does reading the Qur’an do?”

The Grandfather quietly turned from putting coal in the stove and replied, “Take this coal basket down to the river and bring me back a basket of water.”

The boy did as he was told, but all the water leaked out before he got back to the house. The grandfather laughed and said, “You’ll have to move a little faster next time,” and sent him back to the river with the basket to try again. This time the boy ran faster, but again the basket was empty before he returned home. Out of breath, he told his grandfather that it was impossible to carry water in a basket, and he went to get a bucket instead.

The old man said, “I don’t want a bucket of water; I want a basket of water. You’re just not trying hard enough,” and he went out the door to watch the boy try again.

At this point, the boy knew it was impossible, but he wanted to show his grandfather that even if he ran as fast as he could, the water would leak out before he got back to the house. The boy again dipped the basket into river and ran hard, but when he reached his grandfather the basket was again empty. Out of breath, he said, “See Grandpa, it’s useless!”

“So you think it is useless?” The old man said, “Look at the basket.”
The boy looked at the basket and for the first time realized that the basket was different. It had been transformed from a dirty old coal basket and was now clean, inside and out.

“Son, that’s what happens when you read the Qur’an. You might not understand or remember everything, but when you read it, you will be changed, inside and out. That is the work of Allah in our lives.”

Spare a thought for Tony F, Chief Executive of 'Air Asia'

Arriving in a hotel in KL Sentral he went to the bar and asked for a pint of draught Guinness. The barman nodded and said, "That will be one Ringgit please, Uncle Tony."

Somewhat taken aback, Uncle Tony replied, "That's very cheap," and handed over his money.

"Well, we try to stay ahead of the competition", said the barman. "And we are serving free pints every Wednesday evening from 6 until 8. We have the cheapest draught in Asia"

"That is remarkable value" Uncle Tony comments

"I see you don't seem to have a glass, so you'll probably need one of ours. That will be 3 Ringgit please."

Uncle Tony scowled, but paid up. He took his drink and walked towards a seat.

"Ah, you want to sit down?" said the barman. "That'll be an extra 2 Ringgit. You could have pre-book the seat, and it would have only cost you a Ringgit"

"I think you may to be too big for the seat sir, can I ask you to sit in this frame please"

Uncle Tony attempts to sit down but the frame is too small and when he can't squeeze in he complains "Nobody would fit in that little frame".

"I'm afraid if you can't fit in the frame you'll have to pay an extra surcharge of RM 4 for your seat sir"

Tony swore to himself, but paid up. "I see that you have brought your laptop with you" added the barman. "And since that wasn't pre-booked either, that will be another 3 Ringgit"

Uncle Tony was so annoyed that he walked back to the bar, slammed his drink on the counter, and yelled, "This is ridiculous, I want to speak to the manager".

"Ah, I see you want to use the counter," says the barman, "that will be 2 Ringgit please."

Uncle's face was red with rage.

"Do you know who I am?"

"Of course I do Mr Fernandes"

"I've had enough, What sort of Hotel is this? I come in for a quiet drink and you treat me like this. I insist on speaking to a manager!"

"Here is his Email address, or if you wish, you can contact him between 9 and 9.10 every morning, Monday to Tuesday at this free phone number. Calls are free, until they are answered, then there is a talking charge of only 10 sen per second provided you use Tune Talk using other mobile carriers would incur our normal charges of 30 Sen per second."

"I will never use this bar again"

"OK Uncle , but remember, we are the only bar in Asia selling pints for one Ringgit... so that Now everyone can drink"

Atashinchi no Danshi

Description: These days, the term "homeless" has taken on new meaning. There are youths referred to as "net cafe refugees," who have neither a job nor a place to live, but who find themselves hopping around internet cafes. One such refugee is a 20-year-old girl named Chisato, who lost her mother at a young age due to sickness. She spent her youth trying to escape from the huge debt her father left her, and her battle with the repossessors unfolded every night. However, her life changed after meeting one man named Shinzo, changing her views on the meaning of "family." Shinzo comes from a rich family tracing back to the Edo period, and he adopted six good-looking sons with the hope of one becoming his successor, but all of them have strange personalities. Shinzo promises to free Chisato from her debt if she marries him and becomes the mother of his sons. However, a life with these six guys under one roof will not go smoothly.
Ref:dramacrazy.net

An idiom which suits this drama the best is 'every cloud has silver lining'. Everything happens for a reason. Even though you may complain about your own real life, just bear with it, a shine will come and liven you up one day.

As you can read on the above description, the seven heroes lead a thorough life before being adopted by Ohkura Shinzo and the way they were taken into the rich family weren't under their wills. Each one of them has different family background and their pasts seemed to be a sad memory for them. So Shinzo who was actually a lonely man who inherited a 10th generation wealth adopted them in a hope that one of them could be his heir before he left the world. Gathering them in a Trick Heart Castle did not manage to bring the sense of family between them. They did their own businesses and lead their own life. They were just strangers living together. Seeing the scenario, Shinzo found his daughter on the way of escaping from debt collectors of his step father. He saved and informally married her. In return, she had to accompany him till his last breath and be a mother of his six adopted sons.

Many conflicts happened after Shinzo died. Chisato was responsible to unite them and achieved The 10 Mother's goal in order to pay the 100 millions debt which Shinzo had paid before. In the Trick Heart Castle, Chisato played a big role as a youngest mother to six good looking sons which had variety of behaviours. His first appearance in the castle didn't seem to be welcomed by the sons, yet they tricked her enough to kick her off the castle. Chisato nearly gave up each time she tried to approach them but whenever she remembered Shinzo's good deeds and charming fatherly talks, she stood up again.

Time passed and Chisato had gathered them well. They were all having sad pasts and once they shared them and looked after each other, the bonds grew stronger and may be even stronger than people who were blood related. Every problem was solved with spirit and unity. They then started to realise what Shinzo really wanted them to be. Shinzo had planned all the tricks before he died and let the secretary of his to guide them throughout the journey to find the inheritance. As Shinzo was an inventor, many of his inventions were displayed along the story line. He wished that all his inventions could be beneficial to people on easing daily life work. At last, after they really got united, they finally found the real inheritance that Shinzo left for them. The inheritance was Ohkura's golden bars and a book entitled 'Kirokuri Castle and the Seven Heroes'. They read the book and decided on the property Shinzo provided them. Shinzo was actually teaching them what a real true treasure he cherished the most in his life which is 'FAMILY'. None of them took the golden bars and they decided to cherish the family they had now. Chisato was the happiest person among them seeing seven heroes together. (seven including her as a hero as Chisato was actually a biological daughter of Ohkura Shinzo with his true love, Chisato's okasan).

Family, after all has given an impact in our life. Even though we do not realise how much we care of it that much, when something happen, we always get back to our family to help sorting out the problem. I learned a lot through this drama. It taught me the value of sibling-hood and family, love and friendship. You might not get all of these by even 100 millions yen, you may only get these through your sincere heart, loving and taking care of people you care the most. Every moment you spend time together with your family members, make sure it is the best time in your life. So whenever you want to put it an array of your book of memory, those best times would flip on the pages of that book. Appreciate everyone when you still have time. Share the feeling either good or bad (if you really want to). Don't have it all alone or else you may end up doing something stupid which may harm yourself.

Get Here (If You Can) lyrics

Song performed by Oleta Adams, Brenda Russell, Justin Guarini

You can reach me by railway, you can reach me by trailway
You can reach me on an airplane, you can reach me with your mind
You can reach me by caravan, cross the desert like an Arab man
I don't care how you get here, just- get here if you can

You can reach me by sailboat, climb a tree and swing rope to rope
Take a sled and slide down slow, into these arms of mine
You can jump on a speedy colt, cross the border in a blaze of hope
I don't care how you get here, just- get here if you can

There are hills and mountains between us
Always something to get over
If I had my way, then surely you would be closer
I need you closer

You can windsurf into my life, take me up on a carpet ride
You can make it in a big balloon, but you better make it soon
You can reach me by caravan, cross the desert like an Arab man
I don't care how you get here, just- get here if you can

I don't care, I dont care, I need you right here right now

I need you right here, right now, right by my side (yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)

I don't care how you get here, just- get here if you can.

Kasih Alia

Kononnya nak tulis review pasal drama slot Akasia ni la, but sure I'll end up merepek je kat sini. Anyways, here we goes.

Drama air mata ni totally bertemakan kekeluargaan. So, elemen kasih sayang, cinta memang banyak diterapkan dalam cerita ni. Sebagai konflik, there were a few sub stories shown such as sindiket-sindiket jenayah sekarang ;- culik, jual, bunuh kanak-kanak, dan merompak orang yang nak tolong baiki kereta kat tepi jalan.

Tak dinafikan, actually this drama memang membuka mata orang ramai about those syndicates. A lot of news reported on televisions nowadays are about missing children. And those pity children have never been found.

Then, after realizing that they were left by their step mother at the market, they were cheated by a man of the syndicate, telling that he would send them home. These children, Kasih and Qabil were separated as being sold to two different syndicate ;- Kasih, to sindiket mengemis, and Qabil, to sindiket pemerdagangan manusia. Fortunately, every cloud has a silver lining. Kasih berjaya melarikan diri dan berjumpa dengan mama dan papa baru, while Qabil was bought by seorang lelaki budiman yang ingin menyelamatkan kanak-kanak malang ini. They both were then raised to be a good person.

Syawal 2011 ~ as 'anak dara'

This year's Syawal has been awesome. Tanggal 1 Syawal jatuh pada 30hb Ogos mengikut kalendar Cina. That means a day before the national independence day. The celebration was superb with riang ketawa sanak-saudara dan rakan-rakan.

Today is 8th Syawal. Aku pakai baju kurung hari-hari dari 1st syawal till 5th Syawal. Then, on the 6th, I went out to a mall, so I skipped wearing the traditional costume. On the 7th, aku pakai balik baju kurung sebab ade 'convoy raya'. Nak dijadikan cerita, baju sedondon yang sepatutnya dipakai oleh setiap family member on 1st Syawal tak siap. Talking about baju raya, aku survey warna baju raya, and the colour of the year yang aku tengok dalam tv dan sekitar persekitaran is 'hijau pucuk pisang'. Ramai orang menggayakan baju melayu dan baju kurung berwarna hijau tu. Even my real baju sedondon tu pon memang warna tu. Besides baju kurung, kaftan is a new choice in fashion nowadays. It was nice to see various outfits during raya, rasa meriah pandang baju orang cantik-cantik. Secara tak langsung, nampak la muda-mudi sekarang prefer to be feminin during raya visitations, x de la nak pakai shirts and jeans sangat kan... Fabric wise, the choice is more to cotton, either Japanese or English. Cotton is easy to wear especially for children sebab kurang panas, so if nak beraya dari rumah ke rumah pon, pengguna would still be comfortable along the day.

Lemang, lontong, kuah lodeh, ketupat, kuih raya ;- almond london, semperit, bangkit, chocolate chip, rendang, laksa, mi sup, mi kari, bak kata Astro "Macam-macam Ada...". Talking about delicacies ni, memang tak kan habis sampai bila-bila. Same goes to my tummy too, it has been filled with various menu. Lucky that I wore baju kurung, so tak da lah nampak buncit sangat, kan... BUT, I don't eat kuih raya pon, if before I was crazy for almond london, but now, none of those cookies I barely ate. Tak tau kenapa tekak macam not mengidam of them pon. Air? Carbonated, cordial, ribena, ribena celup, all I drank. Sampai kembung, masuk toilet. Ha, after all, I'm so so grateful that I still have the chance to taste all these foods, merasai nikmat yang Allah berikan, rezeki makanan yang tak putus, Alhamdulillah. It teaches me to not wasting the food, and eat only what your tummy want to eat, not your desire. Remember those in Somalia.

Melawat sanak saudara sudah menjadi kewajipan ketika berhari raya. But for this year, since Atok pon x sekuat mana, so, we just visited the close ones. The ones who I know at least. Alhamdulillah... I hope even in the future, I could still go and visit them, hope they would recognize me as cucu Atok. If not, haih... tak berkembang la nampak nya network relatives aku, kan... Rumah wan teh, wan alang, mak long piah, mak enon, wan padang, wan lereng bukit, wan kg solok? macam-macam gelaran sudah aku berikan untuk aku senang mengingati mereka kelak. wan belakang dan wan kfc? wan belakang tu rumah dia kat belakang rumah wan aku. Wan kfc, wan yang beli KFC bucket masa kitorang datang beraya rumah dia. Oh, wan/uwan tu nenek la.
